Bad News

First of all I apologize for what I’m about to say.

I’ve decided to stop writing in this blog – for now. I’m going to keep the website up just so people can either re-read or keep finding it, but I won’t be posting very often (maybe once every few weeks if something happens that I want to share).

However you can still keep me on your RSS readers if you’d like.

Here are my reasons:

1) This is by far the least passive thing that I’m doing at the moment. If I wanted to get it to the point where I’d be making a few hundred dollars per month, I would need to write 3 times per week or so at least. That doesn’t include time trying to think of ideas for posts or doing research either.

2) What I didn’t think about when starting this blog is that I really never wanted to become “known”. I wanted this to be a passive source of income, but with blogging its either one or the other. You either make or don’t make money, and the only way you can make money is by posting – unlike a website. If I wrote out all my ideas and put a lot of time into this I’m sure I could have many more readers, but I don’t want to feel like it’s necessary for me to put the time in to post.

In the future when I’m already financially free, out of school and have my life more steady (not to mention more experience and wisdom) I’m sure I’ll start another blog on the same subject. Probably the same website actually.

So again, this is the last time I’ll be posting. I’ll probably post only when I hit certain targets of mine (financial freedom, the $1000/month mark, etc.) or if I get really bored.
