What’s Your Game Plan?

Since I wrote about Tom Venuto’s Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle in my last post, I figured I would keep the health theme going by explaining to you a very important concept that will keep you laser-focused on your health goals.

Some Basic Fitness Facts

One of the most misunderstood ideas in the world of health is the fact that it is almost impossible to do 2 things at once. For example, most people try to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. For very rare individuals that can actually happen, but they are a VERY small minority and got lucky with amazing genes. For the rest of us, well, too bad I guess.

Before you start on a weight loss or muscle building program, you need to figure out exactly what you want. Do you to gain more strength? More endurance? Lose weight? Gain flexibility?

A few of them can go together like endurance, flexibility, and strength. However, when it comes to losing weight and gaining muscle at the same time, it just doesn’t happen. If you want to build muscle, it’s going to come at the expense of gaining fat. How much fat you gain is pretty much up to how often you eat, what food you eat, and when you eat it. If you’re very strict and have the knowledge that’s laid out in Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle, you can dramatically decrease the amount of fat you’ll accumulate.

However, you WILL gain fat – guaranteed. The reason you build muscle is because you consume more calories than you burn off. The calories feed the muscles growth and allow them to rip apart and grow back bigger. With a calorie deficit, this can’t happen.

As with losing weight, you WILL lose muscle. Again how much muscle you lose depends on how much of a calorie deficit you’re in, what food you eat, and when you eat it. Losing weight happens when your body burns more calories in a day than it consumes. The unfortunate thing is that without perfect nutrition and advanced weight loss strategies (again, those that are laid out in Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle) your body will eventually start burning your muscle for calories. This makes you lose muscle.

You Need A Strategy To Succeed

The reason most people don’t get many results is that they’re trying to accomplish an almost impossible task – that of gaining muscle and losing weight at the same time.

What you need to do to maximize your success is take one strategy and stick with it. This is known as the “cutting” and “bulking” cycles.

Most people like to “cut” for the summer months and “bulk” for the winter months, for obvious reasons.

When you cut you should still weight lift to minimize muscle loss, but you still have to be in a small calorie deficit on most days. After all, that’s the only way to lose weight :) .

When bulking, you should usually consume more calories than you burn, in order to feed your muscles and make them grow.

Mixing these 2 approaches is the reason most people fail. You see, there is a synergistic energy that happens when you stick with one or the other for an extended period of time. You lose weight faster and gain muscle faster by sticking to either a bulking or cutting cycle.

I suggest that as soon as you’re done reading this, figure out if you want to lose weight or gain muscle. Then get yourself educated, follow the steps, take action everyday, and achieve your goals.

Don’t let another day go by where you aren’t focused on creating the body of your dreams. Start today, and never look back.

PS – In order to lose weight quickly and permanently, you NEED to understand how your body works. Take a look at Tom Venuto’s Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle and let him teach you.

The Greatest Thing To Ever Happen To My Health

I feel I have to tell you about what I believe to be the greatest book ever written on how to lose weight and gain muscle. Here is my story and why I whole-heartedly recommend this to anybody who cares about their health.

I had been hearing about it from various people for a length of time, and I finally decided to buy it. The book is called Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle, and it’s by Tom Venuto.

The reason I never purchased the book was because I’ve been studying various weight lifting and weight loss techniques for years, and I thought I knew everything. Turns out, I was COMPLETELY wrong about that.

Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle is a 341 page e-book that is filled to the brim with weight loss and muscle building secrets that, according to Tom Venuto, only the worlds top bodybuilders know.

I never believed that statement, that is, until I read the book in its entirety. There were so many tips and tricks contained in the book that it blew my mind. No wonder I always had a hard time losing weight!

You see, I have always been one of those people that had trouble losing weight. I’m not “fat”, but I’ve always had “a little extra” that I wanted to get rid of. I’ve eaten healthy for a long time but for some reason it never mattered much whether I ate healthy or unhealthy, I was always roughly the same weight.

In fact the only time I was ever at a weight where I was comfortable was last summer, when I was doing construction work from 7-2 and working at a restaurant from 4-10 or so. I was doing that 4 days a week, and on my other 3 days when I didn’t work doubles (but still worked 1 job or the other) I would workout twice a day. But honestly, who wouldn’t lose weight doing that. I was doing hard labor for about 60-70 hours per week and working out twice a day!

Unfortunately that just wasn’t working out for me because I was always so tired I was ready to fall over, and my nutrient wasn’t even close to par. I looked better on the outside, but felt 10 times worse on the inside.

Once the summer was over and I stopped working the construction job and went down to working 2-3 days a week at the restaurant because I was back in school, the weight shot right back on like a rubber band flinging from a stretched position back to its normal position.

Then I read Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle, and it completely changed the way I look at losing weight and gaining muscle. It de-bunked some of the myths I had previously been following. It educated me on the absolute best ways of achieving my health goals.

It showed me tricks I had never previously heard of on how to break through plateaus, which are one of the biggest contributors of failing when trying losing weight.

It taught me about the power of self-image and how if you THINK you’re fat, you’re going to be fat no matter how hard you try.

When I was done reading the book, I started putting his principles to action. What I found was amazing! I started dropping weight like I never have before, but ironically I was eating more food at the same time! My metabolism shot through the roof, I got stronger in all of my bodyweight exercises that I perform, and I felt even MORE energized – and I’m already a hyper person!

This book has been the top health and fitness e-book on the Internet for the past 4 years in a row. It’s achieved success that no other book has ever achieved, and rightfully so!

I would have gladly paid over $100 for this book, but fortunately you’ll have to pay much less for that.

If you’re ready to finally learn exactly how to lose that stubborn body fat that won’t come off, or put muscle on like never before, I ask you to read this page – www.burnthefat.com

PS – Everyday you’re overweight you increase the risk of developing cancer, being deathly sick, or developing one of the dozens of different health risks associated with being overweight. The time to start is NOW.

PPS – Did I mention that even if you don’t end up buying the book at this moment, you can still receive a FREE 12 week e-mail course? This was one of the best e-mails courses I’ve ever received, and again, I’d highly recommend it.

Will You Use This Simple Technique To Add 8 Hours To Your Day?

If I told you that every single day of your life, without notice, you’re wasting about 8 hours each day, what would you say?

Could you figure out how you’re wasting those hours?

Maybe you’ve guessed by now that it’s because you sleep. If so, you’re right!

However, let me tell you how I believe you can turn those 8 hours of normally wasted hours into 8 productive hours, leaving you with a much more successful and fulfilling life.

Your Thoughts Before Sleep

Before you go to sleep each night, what do you think about? Are you pondering over the mistakes you made throughout the day, worrying about what’s to come at work tomorrow, trying to figure out why your spouse got mad at you earlier in the day, or even just aimlessly thinking about nothing?

If so, you should start changing that habit, today.

You see, our brains are a very complex thing. Studies have shown that if you study right before you fall asleep, your memory of that subject will be much better in the morning than if you studied it earlier in the day. This is because once the brain receives input and is then allowed to rest (in this case – sleeping), the subconscious mind takes over and can “play around” with the sensory input it has just received.

It takes that information, scrambles it up a bit, and puts it back together in a tight network-like fashion, leaving you much smarter than when you went to bed.

Since this is true, what about thoughts? Do they have any direct input on the subconscious mind? Well, fortunately they do! In the past decade or so studies have also proven that the brain can’t distinguish reality from a thought it has. So for instance if you go test drive a brand new corvette, then you go home and visualize driving a corvette, your brain has no idea which 1 is real and which isn’t.

Fascinating isn’t it?

What if you harnessed the power of your mind and purposefully thought of yourself achieving great things? Maybe you could visualize yourself being at your ideal weight, having the perfect relationship with your spouse, or you can even visualize yourself driving the new car you’ll buy when you finally achieve financial independence.

Your brain will then work on making that happen for you. Since you’re visualizing those thoughts just before bedtime, your subconscious mind has all night to sort it out for you and figure out exactly how it’s going to make it happen!

Your mind automatically moves you in the direction of your most dominate thoughts. Think about it – if your mind thinks you are a successful and healthy person, you’re going to eventually start moving in that direction.

Why?

Have you ever noticed that extremely healthy or successful people have different living patterns than others? They continually exercise hard and often, eat healthy with very few cravings to binge, and make what seem like “lucky” choices in their careers which catapult them to the top.

What makes those people successful or healthy is the fact that they make wise decisions all day long, everyday. They continually act a certain way which is going to give them the greatest success. That is why if your mind believes you’re one of these people, you’re going to start making the same types of choices that successful people make.

By continually reinforcing the image of yourself being successful (in whatever area of life you choose), you’re on your way to greatness. From this day forward, make it a commitment to hold positive images of yourself in your minds-eye as you fall asleep each night.

This is one of the easiest ways to passively increase the quality of your life. It’s one of the best forms of mental leverage I can imagine, and one of the easiest ways to add about 8 hours worth of positive thoughts to your subconscious mind.
