100 Amazing Things I’m Grateful For

For the month of January one of my “daily things to do” was to list a few items that I was grateful for. Although I didn’t stick with it like I’d hoped, I still got them all done.

Here is a list of 100 things that I’m truly grateful for (although a few of them are kind of “jokes”) - so this will let you get to know me on a much deeper level.

100 Things I’m Grateful For


1. I’m still young

2. I grew up in a great neighborhood

3. I have a great family

4. I have a great girlfriend (her name is Katie)

5. For being a college student, I usually make pretty good money at work

6. I have enough money to buy fitness stuff

7. I read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” at 19 years old.

8. That I got my first job when I was 13 and learned much responsibility w/ money

9. I have no car payment (and haven’t for over 1.5 years now)

10. My older brother has a lot more money than me and is nice enough to usually pay for me when we go out.

11. Finding Holosync for meditating

12. Finding Site Build It! for building websites

13. Blockbuster mail rental thing (not sure of the exact name), since I hardly ever watch TV.

14. Meeting Leo De Leon from www.deleonempire.com

15. Finding Ross Enamait from www.rosstraining.com

16. I work at a place that lets me goof off and isn’t too strict

17. I realized that I create my own reality, and therefore if I want something I need to work to get it. There’s no other way.

18. That the tree outside my house is perfect for rope climbing

19. I have a hill outside my house that I can do hill sprints on

20. I live in a country where it’s relatively easy to make money

21. My mom’s baking (even though I try not to eat it too much b/c it’s bad for me!)

22. Any kind of nut (Almonds and walnuts are my favorite!)

23. Got 2b glued hair gel – it’s the ONLY thing that works with my hair

24. My new Gymboss Interval Timer

25. My dog Rocky who is the best dog I could ever wish for

26. My college that I go to is only 15 minutes from my house

27. The fact that my brother got me away from crappy beer. I love having a great tasting beer and a cigar once in awhile.

28. The E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!!!

29. The beauty of nature

30. I live about 200 yards from a river where I can go to think and contemplate in a beautiful surrounding.

31. My girlfriend is starting to develop the mindset that she needs to overcome her problems by herself.

32. PENGUINS! (my favorite animal)

33. I was born in relatively good health. Besides minor things, I have nothing serious wrong with me that I have to worry about.

34. Cold pools in the summer

35. My Nana’s homemade Peanut Butter pies.

36. Spending time with my family during the holidays.

37. Memories with one of my favorite pets and best friend Cuddles (my cat who I had from the age of about 8-21 who recently passed away)

38. I never have to go through pregnancy (I feel so sorry for girls!)

39. I’ll never get a period (again, I feel so sorry for girls!)

40. The way a pregnant lady “glows”

41. How absolutely adorable babies are

42. The outfits companies make for babies which are unbelievably cute

43. I’m in my last semester of college ever!

44. Being 21 and not being afraid of dying already b/c I realize that this life on Earth is only a fraction of everything I’ll experience.

45. Eagles accessories (watches, pint glasses, jerseys, etc.)

46. That I can learn from the mistakes of those who’ve already made them.

47. The way trees look when they’re covered in snow

48. Snowboarding – even though I haven’t done it in a few years (I miss it!)

49. Building huge snowballs (5+ feet high) when we get that perfect type of snow

50. Being able to keep pictures of loved ones b/c of camera’s

51. Free e-books online

52. My water jug from Target that I got for like $6 and use everyday

53. Calico Jack – it’s spicier than Captain Morgan and ½ the price!

54. Being able to shop online and save tons of money

55. The fact that I’m not “ruled” by anybody or anything

56. Sudoku

57. The arts & crafts that Katie does – she’s so cute when she does them and she’s very talented with them.

58. All in one printers

59. Variety packs of beer

60. My air popped popcorn machine

61. My piece of crap car that, even though its falling apart and will die on me any day now, still gets me from point A to point B

62. How people get mad at the stupidest things (this gives me a chance to work on my personal development

63. The fact that I realize that failures don’t mean failure – they’re just a learning experience.

64. Playstation 3 – which I should have within the next few months hopefully

65. Professors that let you out of class early

66. That I have a girlfriend who realizes the need to work at a relationship

67. How me and Katie’s relationship keeps growing stronger, not weaker, as we’re together longer

68. Payment plans

69. That I’m the type of person who likes a challenge and can pretty much put myself through anything if it will make my life better

70. www.fitday.com – it makes it SO easy to keep track of what I eat

71. How Katie loves to outdoors things with me

72. My calendar that I have which is full of cute dogs ;)

73. Lasik Eye Surgery – which I’ll be getting in May..finally!

74. Fitness forums

75. Personal development forums

76. internet marketing forums

77. How I can have this blog for 100% free and be able to speak my mind

78. The freedom of speech

79. That presidents change every 4 years, with a maximum of 2 terms (thank god)

80. Watching other people get mad over the stupidest things (not to be sadistic, it just helps me realize how much I’ve grown)

81. Having the resiliency to get yelled at to my face and smile back at the person without getting upset (this always makes people mad b/c they’re usually on a power trip but I’m not letting them have the power)

82. How you can get a workout and play video games at the same time with Nintendo Wii

83. The little boxes Katie made me that I keep my extra money/money I’m saving in

84. Picture frames

85. Cameras

86. Soap and deodorant – it’s always good to smell nice ;)

87. I don’t have to pay for my haircuts since Katie is a hairdresser

88. How the internet makes it SO easy to talk to people

89. How easy it is to find great information on the Internet for either free or very cheap

90. How easy it’s becoming to think of more things I’m grateful for

91. My sandbag I use for getting stronger

92. My Powerwheel (it’s an “upgraded” ab wheel which’s given me tremendous results)

93. My climbing rope

94. Portable CD Players (I really need to get an MP3 player though– I still don’t have one!)

95. Candles and incense

96. How you can start a business that can make you hundreds of thousands of dollars (sometimes millions), for anywhere from $50-$200 to start

97. How I get $3 employee meals at work for checking people’s sidework if I’m in section 1

98. How I’ve learned to expand my personal growth through almost any situation – it’s just a matter of consciously thinking about things

99. Not knowing what’s going to happen next in my life – I like the mystery

100. And finally….YOU! I love knowing that there are other people out there who enjoy reading about my life and listening to me :)

By the way, I challenge you to do the same thing. I’m going to keep this list now for those times when I don’t have as much enthusiasm about life as I should. It’s a great thing to try and it’s easier than you think once you get rolling.
